High intensity supports are for people who require more specialised assistance to navigate daily life and overcome unique challenges. Our team has specific training and experience in this area and can make a real difference in your ability to embrace day-to-day activities.
Examples of high intensity support services include hands-on personal care, such as assistance with complex transfers or mobility equipment; close supervision and support for managing challenging behaviours or safety concerns; and specialised help with daily tasks like mealtime assistance, medication management or communication support. We also encourage community engagement by helping you attend events, join clubs or participate in activities that align with your interests.
Supported Independent Living (SIL) focuses on offering personalised assistance with specific tasks in your own home or shared accommodation, ensuring you can live a fulfilling and independent life.
With Supported Independent Living, you can expect help with various daily tasks like meal preparation, cleaning, personal care, and managing medication. We'll also support you in mastering essential life skills, such as budgeting, shopping and using public transport.
